Charlie even designed a unique mountain bike frame to accommodate my circumstances (lack of height) or (vertically challenged). Despite having ridden quite a number of cross bikes over the years, the ride on my O’Leary frame remains one of my favorites. It handles and corners very nicely and has just the right amount of suppleness to tame the roughest of courses. During the design and building process Charlie is very attentive to sizing and design details that result in a great fit and quality craftsmanship and a bike that puts a smile on my face every time I ride it.
I bought an O’Leary beach cruiser for my brother for his birthday. He was looking for a new cruiser for both transportation and for regular workouts. After getting used to the single speed, my brother loves his bike and uses it daily. It is well made, cool looking, and made by one of the most passionate bike builders I know! I highly recommend an O’Leary for anyone interested in a high quality mountain or road bike made with attention to detail and love for the craft!
[On my O’Leary bike] I can ride about 90% of the trails in the Manzanos and some in the Sandia Mountains. Most of these trails I had to walk before. The bike fit is spot on. I’m 6′ 2” and riding a fully rigid mountain bike.
I have a great O’leary Cross bike that I have used for the last 2 years. Charlie fit me and built the frame to my specifications for cyclocrosss. The bike is not only great looking but solid as rock on the race course. I love it, you can’t go wrong with an O’Leary bike!
